How do I anchor / secure my lighthouse?

Answer:  Lighthouse Anchoring Instructions

WOODEN BOAT DOCK OR DECK: Screw through the wooden base of the lighthouse with galvanized screws or lag bolts into any solid wooden foundation.

GARDEN OR YARD: Pre-drill two 3/8" pilot holes into the wooden base of the lighthouse. Dig a hole 4" deep and approximately 6-8" wider than the base diameter of your lighthouse. Mix 2 bags of Sak-Crete concrete with water (per the directions on the bag). Allow at least 24hrs for the concrete to harden. Center the lighthouse on the concrete pad and place two pencil marks through the pilot holes of the wooden base. Remove the lighthouse and use a ½" masonry bit and drill two hole approximately 3" in depth. Embed the 3/8" anchor nuts in the concrete and attach the lighthouse using 3" galvanized lag bolts and washers.

What styles are available in the etched mirrors and furniture?

Answer: The following 10 nautical and tropical styles are available at this time:

Bass , Bass 2 , Dolphins , Gill Gang Sunfish , Lighthouse , Marlin , Palmtrees , Split Rock , Tiger Fury Muskie , Trout

What materials do you use for frames and tables?

All  frames and furniture are crafted in the USA with the highest quality materials and are 100% solid hardwood.

We use:

  • The top-quality hardwoods you find in fine, hand-crafted furniture
  • No plastic
  • No resin
  • No "reconstituted wood products" (a polite name for a sawdust and glue mixture that is moulded and painted to look like real wood)

How is the wood finished?

Run your hand over the surface of the wood and feel the silky smoothness of its hand-rubbed, double lacquer finish. You'll enjoy the same feel of permanence and quality you would get from fine furniture that you buy from the biggest name furniture manufacturers.

How sturdy is the glass in your tables?

Pick up the glass in your hands. The weight alone will show you with how sturdy it is. All the glass we use in our tables is 1/4", double-thick glass to give you a glass top that will stand up to any normal use.

Is it possible to break it? Yes. But don't worry that any little tap or weight will shatter it into a million pieces. You'd almost have to be trying to break it to get it to break.

Don't be foolish with it, but don't worry that it will snap under the weight of a book or a coffee mug. You'll understand what I'm talking about when you pick it up. It will surprise you with how heavy it is.

Do I need to assemble anything when my order arrives?

No. We know you want whatever you choose from us to stand out. Assemble-it-yourself furniture and decor just don't do that.

That's why we make sure that what you receive from us is fully assembled:

  • No complicated assembly instructions
  • No wobbly joints
  • No spending your time surrounded by pieces that you hope will someday look like what you ordered from us

Just remove your order from its shipping box and it's ready to go wherever it will make the most impact in your home.

Will my mirror reflect like a normal mirror?

Your mirror will sparkle as bright as any mirror you've ever seen. Our pictures show them reflecting a plain gray background to give you the clearest possible view of the design.

But hang your mirror on your wall and whatever is gray in the pictures will reflect whatever background is around it, just like any other mirror. Whatever is lighter colored in the pictures is etched and does not reflect.
